The atelier

Founded by three women
Almost two decades

"Decoration goes beyond what the eye can see. It is the feeling of being well. Each home has its own identity, and, respecting your wishes, we create tailor-made projects that make a space feel welcoming."

Bruna and Gabriela Mazacotte

Maza is a family business, founded by three women who shared one dream: love through the seam.

Almost two decades later the company still works the way it started. Every project is drawn, cut, sewn and installed by our own team in Winter Garden, Florida. We don't subcontract the sewing, and we don't subcontract the installation, because the people who measured your windows are the ones who understand them.

What began with curtains grew into shades, motorization, headboards, upholstery and wallcoverings, so that a bedroom or a living room can be resolved as a single project, in one hand, with one fabric language.

Made with care in Winter Garden, Florida.

What we make

Six things, made to measure, made here.

Curtains & drapery

Explore custom curtains & drapery

The piece we are known for. Pinch pleat, wave (ripplefold), inverted pleat and sheers; single or double layer; on rods, tracks or recessed ceiling channels. Every curtain is measured in place, cut in our atelier and hand-finished: weighted hems, aligned patterns, headings that hold their shape.

Blinds & shades

Explore blinds & shades

Roller, roman and blackout shades for windows that want a cleaner line, or a second layer behind a curtain. Where shade and drapery share a room we match the fabric, so the two read as one idea.

Motorized systems

Explore motorized curtains & shades

Quiet motors on tracks and shades, hard-wired or battery, controlled from a wall switch, a remote, a phone or your home-automation system. Planned with your electrician before drywall, or retrofitted without opening walls.

Headboards

Explore custom upholstered headboards

Upholstered headboards made to the bed and to the room: height, depth, fabric and stitching chosen together with the curtains, so the bedroom reads as one project.
